Retrofette
“If you left it up to me to describe Retrofette’s sound, I would liken it to what might have happened if Broken Bells, Julian Casablancas, Prince, and David Bowie had the chance to record a song together. Is it that good?! Yes, yes it is.” - BolderBeat Magazine June 2018

Denver-based Retrofette is the byproduct of keyboardists Sean Culliton and Xavier Provencher's love for vintage synthesizers and sweaty dance floors. Joined by synth bassist Ben Weirich and drummer Dylan Johnson on stage, the quartet’s brand of 80s tinged synthpop was born in March 2016 and has since garnered a steadfast following.

In June 2018 Retrofette released its latest single, Lover in Japan, a summery dance anthem that inspired by classic 80s new wave. Retrofete has shared the stage with acts such as Anomalie, Magic Sword, Fever the Ghost, and Mark Mallman. They have played on the legendary Red Rocks stage, sold out audiences at Denver venues Hi Dive and Ophelia’s, and were selected as the Best Pop of 2017 act in Colorado by Westword Magazine.

We are Bun Bun!! Everybody thinks we met on Craigslist, but the truth is, we didn’t. We are super in love. We got each other the same thing on Valentines Day. It wasn’t even airhorns. It was narwhal costumes and we wear them every day underneath all of our clothing. We fall asleep to airhorns and sirens every night because we are both maximalists and lovers of chaos. We made spaghetti macaroni and cheese tonight. That’s TWO MEALS IN ONE. We each knew, when we were born, that one day we would become SoundCloud rappers. Now we make Future Shock Bee Wave G~House Music, and we only make hits.
We love you, we love bees, buns, bock bocks, gongs, Wi-Fi, curry, Retrofette, oysters, glitter, and Die Antwoord. Most of all we love each other. We are suuuuuuper in love. We didn’t meet on Craigslist.
Love,
Reedlet & Snarklet

DJ Boyhollow
DJ Boyhollow
hollow aka boyhollow is an old goth that plays music for hipsters, indie-rockers, bass-heads, gays, party kids, gender-crushers, meat-heads, woo girls and even the occasional hippie. He doesn’t believe in writing bios containing a bunch of cliches about what an awesome DJ he is. He’d rather be making you dance.
He is co-founder of Lipgloss (est. 2001), Denver’s longest running and most awarded club-night. Lipgloss was instrumental in - if not arguably responsible for - creating Denver’s indie dance scene.
He has worked with, performed at and produced parties with some of music’s biggest names: New Order, Passion Pit, The XX, Girl Talk, Miami Horror, The Juan Maclean, Miike Snow, Yeasayer, !!!, MSTRKRFT, Autoerotique, Figure, Mars Volta, Simian Mobile Disco, Steve Aoki, Bloody Beetroots, Chromeo, Calvertron, Le Castle Vania, Treasure Fingers, VHS or Beta, Le Tigre, Felix Cartal, Fake Blood, Blondie, Interpol, Phoenix, Boys Noize, Crookers, LCD Soundsystem, Guns'n'Bombs, Mustard Pimp, Junkie XL, LA Riots, The Faint, K.I.M.
