Lady and The Gentlemen
Lady and the Gentlemen is an 8 piece band from Boulder, CO formed by musicians who frequented a local jam session together for a year before creating the band. Featuring violin, horns, powerhouse vocals, and some of the most talented jam-band musicians in Boulder, the band is able to sweep across genres with ease while maintaining their unique style. Lady and the Gentlemen brings the songwriting skills of each member to the table so that every song features the talent, which there is plenty of, of every musician in the group. These guys and gals are on to something big and are here to share their unquestionable love for music with you!
Good Touch
Good Touch
After crossing paths in the ever-growing city of Denver, five vibrant musicians emerged to form a group that could combine the improvisational concepts of jazz with progressive rock and funk. That group is Good Touch. The bands origins begin at University of Colorado Denver’s Jazz Studies program between keyboardist Brennan Forrester and guitarist/vocalist Alex Newton. The band quickly expanded to include members with a variety of musical taste and performance backgrounds that creates an eagerness to explore the vast mix of genres enjoyed by this five-piece powerhouse.
Alex Newton is an avid fan of jazz, funk, rock, and bluegrass. Fellow guitarist and vocalist Brady Lavin prefers music of the Afro-Cuban, avant-garde and singer-Song writer varieties. All the while Tyler Hobbs brings his southern rock, blues, and jam band influences on the drums. Bassist Josh Melton has been honing his disco, metal, and funk on the low end. Combined with Brennan Forrester's affinity for jazz, rock, and jamtronica. With sounds reminiscent of Umphrey’s McGee and Medeski, Martin, & Wood, Good Touch creates a grooving and powerful style that’s sure to get you moving.
